Hampton Inn St. Thomas
A ground-up, 126-key hotel raised five stories on unstable fill near the cruise port.
Project details
A sales center is where a resort sells itself, so the finish has to be high and the space has to work hard. At Frenchman's Reef on St. Thomas, the job was to build one, along with a sales gallery and dedicated Marriott office space.
That is roughly 7,000 square feet of customer-facing and working space, built to a high standard, on an island where every material and finish has to be brought in.
High-end space rewards precision and good logistics. Here is how Stabilis built it.
A sales center is judged on how it looks and feels, so the work was held to a high-end standard throughout.
We built the customer-facing sales and gallery areas alongside the working Marriott offices, so one space serves guests and staff.
As with all our work, finishes and materials were procured and moved in through our own logistics, so quality did not depend on what happened to be available locally.

Our own project and field teams directly managed hurricane-recovery work across the main tower, harborside units, and the power plant.
Seven four-story guest buildings painted, the model rooms rebuilt and every public space renovated, with the resort open throughout.
