Most of the Stabilis team lives in the U.S. Virgin Islands, works across the region’s local languages, and is part of the communities we build in. That is part of why the work holds up. The people accountable for it are still there long after the job is done.
The same team gives back where it works, from sports fields and skate parks to programs for disabled veterans and volunteer disaster relief at home and abroad.
FAQ
The senior team carries more than 250 years of combined construction experience, with over 100 years of it in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Retention runs near 90 percent, so the experienced team that starts your project is the one that finishes it.
We self-perform the work that decides a schedule, including the concrete superstructure, and we run our own shipping and logistics to the islands. Specialist trades on our team lead the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes, so the critical work stays in our own hands.
Stabilis is headquartered in the U.S. Virgin Islands, with offices in Florida and Austin, Texas. Most of the team lives in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and shipping and logistics are coordinated on the island, close to the work.
Stabilis was founded by owners Tyler and Samantha Edwards, and is run by a senior team of project management, operations, trade, and logistics specialists, many with two to four decades of experience each in complex and remote construction.
