Harborside at Atlantis
Lobby and fitness-center renovations with a general plumbing retrofit at a landmark resort.
Project details
Hyatt Vacation Club at Hacienda del Mar is a resort in Dorado, on Puerto Rico's north coast. The job was a major one: refurbish every exterior opening across the entire property.
Two things made it demanding. The scale, because the work touched the whole property rather than a single building. And the setting, because the resort stayed open the entire time.
That means running a property-wide construction program around guests, arrivals, and daily resort operations, without the work ever getting in their way.
On an open resort, how you phase the work matters as much as the work itself. Here is how Stabilis ran it.
We treated every exterior opening on the property as one program, so the scope stayed consistent from building to building.
We phased the work so glazing crews moved through the property without cutting across arrivals, guest access, or daily operations.
The property stayed open and operating the whole time, which is the hardest way to renovate and the way resorts prefer.
Every exterior opening across Hyatt Vacation Club at Hacienda del Mar refreshed, delivered as one property-wide program, with the resort open for guests throughout.
It shows Stabilis running large, guest-sensitive renovation programs in Puerto Rico without closing the doors.

Forty timeshare units renovated in five months in Key West, with the resort open and operating throughout.
Seven four-story guest buildings painted, the model rooms rebuilt and every public space renovated, with the resort open throughout.
